6) User Content and Copyright Rules (Very Important)
The Service may allow you to upload or submit content such as notes, prompts, text, images, documents, or other materials (“User Content”).
6.1 You Own What You Upload (and You’re Responsible for It)
- You own the User Content you upload or you have all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses to upload and use it with the Service.

- If your User Content includes materials created by someone else, you have the right to use and upload them.
6.2 No Copyrighted Material Without Rights
Do not upload copyrighted or proprietary material unless you created it or have express permission or a valid license to use it. This includes copyrighted exam passages, questions, answer explanations, textbooks, study guides, videos, or images owned by third parties.
6.3 We Can Remove Content
We may review, remove, disable access to, or restrict User Content at any time if we believe it violates these Terms or applicable law.
6.4 Processing and Limited Retention of User Content
To provide the Service, your User Content may be processed and temporarily stored (for example, to generate outputs, display your work, maintain session state, prevent abuse, and debug issues). We do not intend to retain your User Content longer than necessary, but temporary storage, caching, and limited retention in backups, logs, or security systems may occur. Do not submit sensitive personal information.
6.5 License You Give Us to Operate the Service
You grant Mistake To Mastery a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display your User Content only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete your User Content, except for limited retention needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes.

9) Educational Disclaimer (Not A Substitute for Professional Advice)
10) Service Availability and Changes
11) Termination
12) Privacy, Analytics, and Session Recording
We collect and use information to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including account information (like your email and name), the User Content you submit, basic usage and device data (like browser/device type and IP address), and support communications.
Product Analytics and Session Recording
We use third-party product analytics and session-recording tools to understand how the Service is used and to diagnose problems. These tools may record your interactions with the Service - including pages you view, clicks, navigation, scrolling, and other on-screen activity - and may capture a visual replay of the content displayed on your screen while you use the Service. These recordings are associated with your account. We do not capture your password (you sign in through Google) or your full payment card details (payments are handled in a secure frame by our payment processor). Because recordings can capture content shown on your screen, you should not enter or submit sensitive personal information into the Service (see also the User Content section).
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure usage, and support analytics and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
Service Providers and Advertising
We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, including a product-analytics and session-recording provider, Google (for analytics, advertising/conversion measurement, and sign-in), a payment processor, database and authentication hosting providers, an email provider, and AI providers used to generate study content. Some of this sharing - for example, advertising and conversion measurement - may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain U.S. state privacy laws. These providers may store and process data outside your state or country, including in the United States.
Retention and Your Choices
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business, legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup purposes; session recordings are retained for a limited period and then deleted. You can request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us at support@mistaketomastery.com, and we will take reasonable steps to honor your request, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup retention needs.
By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, recording, and sharing of information as described in this Section.
